For a new twist on a traditional holiday appetizer, serve espresso jam atop melted brie stacked on a cracker for a delicious bite of savory, sweet and salty.
1 wheel brie cheese (8-ounce)
2 tablespoons of coffee fruit preserve
1 package of thin crackers
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Spread Coffee Fruit Preserve on top of the brie cheese.
Place the brie cheese on the cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes to melt the cheese and to let the cheese absorb the preserve.
Remove from oven and cut the cheese into slices.
Place the slices on top of thin crackers.
Garnish with fresh basil
